Chagford Cream
The original wool – named after the wonderful Moorland town nestled in the foothills of Dartmoor itself. Lily and her husband Blag farmed just outside at Bolventor Farm. She is buried in the churchyard with the love of her life her first husband Thomas Symons who was killed leaving her to bring up 3 small girls alone- thus then marrying Blag.
Lily Warne Aran wool is 3-fold Aran, 3 strands of Aran yarn spun together.
Each ball of wool is 50 grams (70 metres of wool per 50gms)
Hand wash only
This means using your actual hands and not the washing machine on a wool cycle, unless you want your wool felted!!! Do not rub or wring and last of all dry flat. Your wool will love you and last a lifetime if look after it.
