Moreton Mauve

Named after the village of Moretonhampstead… Moreton is the name used by locals, this is where 2 of Lily’s daughters lived – Elsie and Mabel… and it is where my grandmother lived during her childhood.

Lily Warne Aran wool is 3-fold Aran, 3 strands of Aran yarn spun together.

Each ball of wool is 50 grams (70 metres of wool per 50gms)

Hand wash only

This means using your actual hands and not the washing machine on a wool cycle, unless you want your wool felted!!! Do not rub or wring and last of all dry flat. Your wool will love you and last a lifetime if you look after it.
